Definitely an Eclectic restaurant. A cross between folksy and hip. I can't recommend the staff highly enough. The waiter overheard us talking about splitting our food so we could sample what each other was ordering. The chef then prepared individual plates for each of us. There is an outdoor dining area for warm days. Note that the new address is the corner of West King Street and Fort Street in strasburg.

A fun and laid-back place to eat and grab a drink! My husband and I really enjoyed the po-boy and the grilled veggie sandwich with tofu, and our pups appreciated the patio and the fresh drink of water! We also loved that they have a from-scratch kitchen and everything was super fresh and made in-house. We got to chat a bit with the owner, Robert, who was friendly and had us laughing while we ate!

Fresh, fun, and flavorful! Blue Wing Frog did not disappoint. The shrimp tacos were outstanding with a creative flair. The burger was delicious and came from a nearby ranch from mash and grass-fed beef. The fried potatoes that came with the burger were so scrumptious! The owners were warm, friendly, and working hard to create a wonderful dining experience. The building and the 2 dining rooms inside are totally accessible and very clean. Parking is on the street with a small parking lot alongside the building. Food is seasonal, so the menu changes. Prices were consistent with the great quality of food. Highly recommend this new Strasburg restaurant.

“I don’t even know what to say!” Sir Robert... you know I’m sayin! On my way home to NY from NC, I was tired and starving; looked for excellent google reviews for diners in the area of Shenandoah County. Blue Wing Frog kept popping up. The name intrigued me as it was, so I found my way there and I couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place! Everything on the menu is scratch made; including the condiments. They’re also vegan so no tummy aches!! (All the bread is homemade too!!) Robert, the owner, greeted me with the most genuine smile, told me a quick overview of his lil place and I decided to let him choose my meal. Thank goodness I did!! Catfish tacos... I’ve caught a catfish and threw it back and swore I would NEVER eat one. Oh man, I’m beyond happy he chose for me. The fish is... well, honestly the only word I can say is delicate. Robert says “sublime”. And both are true! Purple slaw, cilantro crema, and hot sauce with a slice of Cajun grilled pineapple. Amazingggg. All topped with a squeeze of lime. Anddd then Robert says “have you ever seen an aloe plant bloom??” Well no, I have not. He gave me something incredibly special...aloe flowers! They’re edible and taste the way honeysuckle smells. I added a few to the tacos and it made them even better. We chatted throughout my meal, laughed so many times, and I took home a loaf of homemade cinnamon raisin bread. He said to make French toast with it. Will do. Good music played in the background, the artwork on the walls fit the vibe perfectly, the menu isn’t huge making it easy to choose a meal, window art was fun to see, live plants and fresh scents filled the dining rooms. The food is clean (which is often very hard to find), and fresh and all the flavors come together in the most perfect way. I will leave you with a quote from Robert because I couldn’t have said it better myself... ”Existential culinary experience.” See you next time I’m in town!! Cheers my friend!! (Someone left a one star review... idk what her issue was, but she’s wrong!)

A fantastic meal in a beautiful historic building. I went with the recommended fish tacos, which were full of flavor. Loved the local artwork on the walls. Reasonable prices, and close to the antique stores - well worth a lunch or evening meal.

Super cute little gem in Strasburg. Lots of unique and vegetarian options as well as more familiar fare for the less adventurous. Brunch menu was great with unique blue mimosas and great coffee.

What a great find! The owner greeted us so warmly and the food was absolutely delicious. A great menu, with yummy options for the both the carnivore and vegan alike, and you can taste the heartfelt, homemade cooking in every bite.

We had a great experience at Blue Wing Frog! We ordered the Blue Wing Burger and the Twisted Philly Roll, which were delicious. The Blue Wing Burger had fantastic flavors: crispy bacon and a fresh, house-baked brioche bun. While the burger patty itself was a little dry, the homemade mustard, ketchup, and aioli more than made up for it—each one was delicious and added a great depth of flavor. The Twisted Philly Roll was outstanding, with tender pulled pork, gooey provolone cheese, and perfectly grilled peppers on a soft brioche roll. The crispy garlic 'taters were some of the best we've had—crispy, well-seasoned, and addictively good. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. On top of the great food, the service was excellent. Robert, the owner, was super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The cozy, laid-back atmosphere made for a perfect dining experience. If you're in the area, Blue Wing Frog is definitely worth a visit!
